This whole section of the album almost works like a mini story within the whole album. It ties in nicely with the overall theme of growth but there's a bit of a fantasy element to it! All the songs on "Groove Corner 816 FM" play with the idea of being stuck with the environment around you. "Club 3D X" is like the cool hub where everyone around you gets sucked into it, "23 Tonight" is about being so stuck in the good times that you slowly start to disregarded the important things in life and "Love" is about breaking the cycle, finding self love, and surrender to the universe and whatever happens, happens. This whole section probably takes place when I was about maybe 19-23 I was partying a lot, going to clubs, doing hoodrat shit and I think by the time I was half way through 23 that's when things started to change "Love"

Fun little fact about the "816" that was number of the HMV I worked at for years, it was a really great job and I wanted to immortalize it for myself somehow

About Groove Corner I was obsessed with Dance Dance Revolution as a kid. Every-time we would get to go to the arcade i'd spend an ungodly amount of money on this game alone. I loved the style of the music so much so this song is kind like a homage to those memories, It was such a simple jam to come up with because I know it just had to be bouncy and fun sounding.

Now I just have to get this song into a producers hands so they can remix it and put it into the next game. They still make those right?
